We drive, on the familiar road to my home. I don’t want this night to end. I’m near to tears as we get closer to our destination. I lay my head on your shoulder and close my eyes, savoring the moment. You take my hand and I remember the first time you ever did that. I sigh with pleasure and turn my head to whisper in your ear. “ I love you” I say only loud enough for you and the angels to hear.

You turn your gaze on me. I feel my insides melt, like they always do when you look at me. Your dark, ochre eyes pierce my very soul and I am left hypnotized by your very presents. You slowly caress my face with your hand and turn my chin upward for the kiss I know I’m about to receive. Soft and tender are your lips as they touch mine. I feel light and dizzy as we pull away slowly. You chuckle musically as you see me trying to stay upright.

You pick me up and carry me up the stairs to my home. I lay my head on your chest and breath in your lovely sent. You take me inside and lay me down on my bed. While taking my shoes off you hum my favorite lullaby. Then, you pull the covers up to my chin, kiss my forehead and close the door.

I run after you, catching you right at the door. You smile and welcome me in your sweet embrace. I feel you everywhere. Your arms wrapped around me tight and your tong moving with mine. Then, you pull back slowly, and kiss my neck. I was out of breath and wishing this would never stop. You stood there holding me close to you , knowing that is what I wanted. You lean your head down to my neck again and breath in deeply. Then, exhaling you breath the words “good night”.
